Year 5 made African Masks made out of clay (in our very own Art and DT studio), with Marie-Louise Coffi from Heritage Ceramics. They made a mask that would represent the King in the Republic of Benin, which is on the West Coast of Africa.
Year 5 took part in a Shakespeare workshop, which was kindly delivered by Emma Manton. The children had so much fun; they looked at Shakespeare’s language, characters and themes throughout his play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
